The National Election Commission announces the steps for electronic voting

The electronic voting system enables the voter to practice the voting process in two ways, the first by entering the candidate’s number, and the second by clicking on the candidate’s picture

The National Elections Committee announced the electronic voting steps for the 2015 Federal National Council elections, which will be used in the early voting phase, which will take place over 3 days from September 28-30, as well as the election day scheduled for October 3, 2015.

The electronic voting system works by inserting the Emirates Identity Card issued by the Emirates Identity Authority, which is considered the approved document that authorizes its holder from among the members of the electoral bodies to exercise his right to vote during early voting days and on election day.

The electronic voting system enables the voter to practice the voting process in two ways, the first by entering the candidate’s number, and the second by clicking on the candidate’s picture. “Vote” option to complete the voting process successfully, then the voter withdraws the Emirates ID card.

The feature of confirming the candidate's choice gives the voter the ability to amend the voting option if it becomes clear to him that his choice was not the desired option.

The National Elections Committee invites all citizens to verify that their names are included in the lists of electoral bodies so that they can exercise their right to vote on polling day, by visiting the committee’s website www.uaenec.ae or by calling the National Elections Committee call center 600500005.
