He said: "The UAE continues its development and modernization approach in all fields, including the promotion of political participation and the empowerment of the Federal National Council. And there is no way to rush and burn the stages, because the UAE has achieved achievements on a global level in all aspects, and we must preserve and continue with them.
His Excellency added: "The significant expansion of the electoral bodies is a strong indication of the leadership's commitment to promoting political participation. Voters must support this step and make it a success to confirm their desire to develop the political program in the country. Great participation is the real motive for continuing the empowerment process and building on the steps that have been taken since the year 2005 until today.
During the lecture, His Excellency Dr. Anwar Gargash reviewed the efforts of the National Elections Committee to prepare for and conduct the elections within the highest standards of transparency and in a way that reflects the great progress and development that has reached the United Arab Emirates.
