104 candidates on the third day of registration for the Federal National Council elections

Today, the National Elections Committee announced the preliminary list of candidates for the Federal National Council elections, who submitted their applications for candidacy during the third day of candidate registration, as the number of candidates who nominated themselves for the elections reached 104 candidates in all emirates of the country.
There were 20 candidates in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, 30 in the Emirate of Dubai, 20 in the Emirate of Sharjah, 16 in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, 5 in the Emirate of Ajman, 7 in the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain, and 6 in the Emirate of Fujairah.
The National Election Commission will publish the preliminary list of candidates according to the schedule on August 20, 2011.
