During a field tour of the registration centers in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, His Excellency Dr. Anwar Gargash emphasized the ease of procedures, high readiness, distinguished organization, and the remarkable efforts shown by the cadres of the National Elections Committee in dealing with the utmost professionalism with the candidacy applicants during the first day of the registration days, calling on those who find themselves The ability and competence of the members of the electoral bodies and those who meet the conditions, especially in the youth and women sectors, to nominate their names and run for these elections in an effort to serve the UAE.

His Excellency Dr. Anwar Gargash said during his tour today at the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Candidates Registration Center: "We hope that all members of the UAE society will show true support for the electoral process by participating in the electoral process, whether by candidacy or by encouraging qualified people to run or By practicing the voting process on polling day, because of this support of great positive importance, the results of which will be reflected in the Emirati society as a whole, indicating that community awareness is what the UAE is betting on in determining the voter’s choices by electing who is qualified to carry this national responsibility and proceed with it to achieve the best results. for the UAE.

His Excellency added: "Today we have reached an important stage of the 2015 electoral process, and the good turnout witnessed today by the registration centers in all the emirates of the country in the first hours of opening the nomination door is a positive indication of the keenness of the members of the electoral bodies to participate in the Federal National Council elections, and we hope This momentum will continue and increase further in the coming days, leading up to polling day on the third of October.”

The statistics of the first day of registration of candidates amounted to the receipt of 102 applications for candidacy in all emirates of the country, including 14 women, as the Abu Dhabi Emirate Committee recorded the highest registration rate on the first day, with 24 candidates, including two women. While the Dubai Emirate Committee recorded the highest registration rate for the first day in the country with the number of women applying for candidacy, as the committee received 6 applications from women who decided to run in the electoral process.
