Voting for the 2015 elections in embassies and diplomatic missions begins next Sunday

The headquarters of embassies and diplomatic missions of the United Arab Emirates, which are spread around the world, receive members of electoral bodies who are outside the country, to cast their votes and exercise their electoral right by choosing who represents them under the dome of the Federal National Council, through 94 centers that have been identified and approved by the National Elections Committee and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for voting outside Country.

The early voting process, which will continue on the 20th and 21st of September, is scheduled to extend from ten in the morning until six in the evening, at the time of the country in which the polling center is located.

His Excellency Tariq Hilal Lootah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs and Chairman of the Election Management Committee, stated that the National Elections Committee, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has completed all procedures related to the conduct of the voting process outside the country in accordance with the highest international standards to ensure accuracy, transparency and integrity of the electoral process, stressing keenness to ensure All requirements and information for voters to facilitate voting mechanisms during the specified period.

His Excellency said: "The committee's approval of voting outside the country comes within its endeavor to make room for members of the electoral bodies whose nature of work or studies or for other reasons govern their presence outside the country to exercise their electoral right, which is considered a right for all and its exercise is a duty to ensure the optimal selection of members of the Federal National Council who will be the tongue Their situation and their voice that conveys their issues, discusses them and works to find appropriate solutions for them.

In turn, the National Elections Committee invites all citizens outside the country to verify that their names are included in the lists of electoral bodies so that they can exercise their right to vote outside the country, by visiting the committee’s website www.uaenec.ae or by calling the National Elections Committee call center 600500005.
