The polling centers are equipped with trained and qualified work teams in all specializations to help the voters to exercise their electoral right easily and smoothly.

On Saturday (October 3, 2015), 36 polling centers distributed in all the emirates of the country will open their doors to receive voters from members of the electoral bodies, after completing their equipment and preparation, from 8 am to 8 pm.

Members of the electoral colleges who did not vote in the early voting phase or outside the country in the embassies and diplomatic missions of the United Arab Emirates will be able to elect their candidates for membership of the Federal National Council through the electronic voting system that works by entering the Emirates ID card issued by the Emirates Identity Authority, which is considered The approved document that authorizes the bearer of the members of the electoral bodies to exercise his right to vote.

The National Elections Committee called on all candidates or their representatives to abide by the executive instructions and procedures governing them and to refrain from all manifestations of electoral propaganda in the vicinity of electoral centers, indicating that specialized committees have been formed to monitor these procedures, noting that in the event of violations in this field, they will be committed. Warn the candidate and warn him not to repeat this, and in the event of continuing, a record of proof will be drafted so that the appropriate decision is taken, which amounts to deporting the candidate from the center’s perimeter.

His Excellency Tariq Hilal Lootah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs and Chairman of the Election Management Committee, confirmed the readiness of the centers and the completion of preparations to receive voters in all polling centers. His Excellency said: "The polling centers distributed throughout the United Arab Emirates are equipped with all means and capabilities that enable voters It is also equipped with trained and qualified work teams in all areas and specializations related to the electoral process to receive voters and introduce them to voting mechanisms, the electronic voting system and assist them by identifying all the information and inquiries that they wish to obtain an answer to.

His Excellency indicated that the National Elections Committee is keen to provide all procedures that ensure the highest standards of accuracy, integrity and transparency for the electoral process, and His Excellency renewed the call to all members of the electoral bodies who were not elected in the early voting stage or outside the country to participate in this national duty by directing To the polling stations and vote for whomever they see fit and able to contribute to the transfer of their issues in a way that serves the homeland and the citizen and achieves the vision of the wise leadership of the United Arab Emirates to be among the best countries in the world during the next few years.

The 36 electoral centers are distributed in the emirates of the country

11 centers in Abu Dhabi

The number of electoral centers in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi is eleven, and they are as follows: Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center, Al Jazeera Club sports hall, Yas Mall, Zayed University in Shakhbout City.

In the western region: Madinat Zayed Wedding Hall, Ghayathi Wedding Hall, Al Sila Wedding Hall.

In Al Ain: Al Ain Convention Center / Al Khabisi, Al Waqn Wedding Hall, Al Dhaher Wedding Hall, Al Hayer Wedding Hall.

  6 centers in Dubai

The number of electoral centers in the Emirate of Dubai is six: Dubai World Trade Centre, the Culture and Science Symposium in Al Mamzar, the sports hall at the headquarters of the UAE Football Association in Dubai, Sunset Mall, the Emirates Identity Building in Al Barsha, and the Hatta wedding hall.

7 centers in Sharjah

The number of electoral centers in the Emirate of Sharjah reached seven centers distributed as follows: Sharjah Chess Club on Al Dhaid Street near the American University, Mughaidir Suburb Council, Real Estate Registration Department - Al Layyah Suburb next to the Department of Culture and Information, Al Dhaid Youth Club, Maliha Cultural Club, Expo Center In Khor Fakkan, University of Sharjah in Kalba.

Two centers in Ajman and Umm Al Quwain

In the Emirate of Ajman, two electoral centers have been identified: the Social Services Building - Ministry of Social Affairs in the Al Jurf region, and the Sanad Center in the Masfout region.

Likewise, in the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain there are two polling stations: Sheikh Khalifa Wedding Hall and the Technical High School in Falaj Al Mualla.

5 centers in Ras Al Khaimah

Five polling centers have been identified in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, and they are as follows: Expo Center, Emirates Identity Authority building behind the General Directorate of Ras Al Khaimah Police, Emirates Identity Authority building in Al Rams area, Colleges of Technology (female students), Al Ghail Youth Center.

3 polling stations in Fujairah

In the Emirate of Fujairah, three electoral centers have been identified: the exhibition grounds, the center of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development in the Masafi region, and the Dibba Sports Club.

Stages and methods of electronic voting

The electronic voting steps for the Federal National Council elections 2015 will be through the electronic voting system, which enables the voter to practice the voting process in two ways, the first by entering the candidate’s number, and the second by clicking on the candidate’s picture, so that the voting system then transfers the candidate to the selection confirmation screen The candidate he chose, and then moves on, as a last step, to press an option

“Vote” for the voting process to be completed successfully, then the voter withdraws the Emirates ID card, and the feature of confirming the candidate’s choice gives the voter the ability to amend the voting option if it becomes clear to him that his choice was not the desired option.
