The National Elections Committee meets with the leaders of the volunteer teams participating in the elections

The National Elections Committee met with the leaders of the volunteer teams of the National Social Volunteering Program "Takatof" who will participate in the organizational process for the 2011 Federal National Council elections, with the aim of explaining all the details related to the tasks that the volunteers will carry out during polling day.

The committee seeks, through its meeting with the team leaders, to give a full picture of the duties required of the volunteers, the job description for the elections, as well as introducing the electoral process and the 2011 Federal National Council elections, the Federal National Council, and the Election Management Committee of the National Elections Committee.

Dr. Saeed Al Ghafli, Assistant Undersecretary for Federal National Council Affairs at the Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs, member of the National Elections Committee, member of the National Elections Committee, and HE Sami bin Uday, Assistant Undersecretary for Support Services Sector and member of the Election Management Committee, participated in this meeting. and a number of human resource officials.

Dr. Saeed Al-Ghafli said: "The National Elections Committee seeks to implement the electoral process in an optimal manner, and therefore it works hard to implement training programs for its participants, and to clarify all details related to election day, from the moment the voter arrives at the polling center until his departure, in an easy and organized manner."

He added: "The committee signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Program for Social Volunteering "Takatuf" to provide volunteers to participate in the organizational processes on election day, due to the high experience and competence of this program in the field of institutional volunteer work. Teams with the tasks and duties required of them, so that these leaders distribute the members of their teams according to the job description for the elections and in line with the vision of the National Committee for the implementation of the electoral process, where the teams of volunteers will be distributed to several points starting from the external reception of the voter through the various stages until the exit stage, in order to ensure the highest degrees Streamlined movement of voters and candidates.

His Excellency Sami bin Uday gave a detailed presentation on the tasks and duties that the volunteers will undertake, the most prominent of which is receiving voters, making sure to bring the identity card issued by the Emirates Identity Authority, ensuring that no gatherings occur at the entrance to the polling center, organizing entry in case of any crowding, and ensuring that there are no people They promote or publicize some candidates, organize voters into groups to train them on the steps of electronic voting, and ensure that the voter is ready to use the electronic voting system.

The National Elections Committee had signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Program for Social Volunteering "Takatof" of the Emirates Foundation for Social Benefit, according to which the program will allocate volunteers to the National Elections Committee, and implement the processes of distributing, preparing, training and managing volunteers during the election period.
